Logging into the Scalable app will become easier on Android devices. Learn more about the improvements.

In the future, you will no longer need to enter an additional PIN after entering your login details. This will make it easier for you to log in. The login will remain just as secure.

Previously, Android users were asked to enter an additional PIN after entering their login data, confirm it and then make optional biometric settings (facial recognition or fingerprint). After each logout, a PIN had to be assigned again and the activation of facial recognition or fingerprint had to be carried out again.

In the upcoming weeks, the process will become smoother once you have entered your login details. To complete the changeover to the simpler login process, users of Android 11 and higher will need to unlock their devices one more time. For the quickest login possible, we also recommend activating facial recognition or fingerprint in the system settings of your device. Users with Android 10 or lower are automatically switched to the simpler login process.
