Protected through highest technology standards
We use the latest technology to ensure security for your account. Your personal data is protected from unauthorized access in our system. It is transmitted and stored exclusively in encrypted form (TLS/SSL).
Our information security is certified according to ISO27001 and is regularly audited by an independent body. In addition, we maintain further technical and organisational measures to protect our data.
Two-factor authentication
Two-factor authentication helps to make your account even more secure. Basically, it works like this: to protect your login, you can link your mobile device. This way, when you log in to your Scalable account, in addition to the normal password, you also have to unlock it via your linked smartphone. This means that even if your password falls into unauthorized hands, your account cannot be accessed, as the login requires confirmation via your mobile device. Learn more.
Security for your money and your investments
Cash on your broker account: The PRIME+ Broker cash balance is distributed across Scalable Capital Bank and partner banks. The distribution also takes into account the balance held by Scalable Capital at the respective bank, as well as the respective statutory deposit guarantee of €100,000 per customer and bank and any supplementary protection schemes. We distribute all other cash balances, in addition to those held at Scalable Capital Bank, across partner banks and qualified money market funds. These rules can be changed with timely prior notice.
Independent and regulated
We are an independent credit institution with the regulatory permission of the German Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (BaFin) to provide banking and investment services pursuant to section 32 KWG. We offer in particular the service of management of individual portfolios of financial instruments (“portfolio management”) and contract brokerage ("brokerage"). We are subject to supervision by the German Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (Bundesanstalt für Finanzdienstleistungsaufsicht) and the German Federal Bank (Deutsche Bundesbank).
Communication via appropriate channels
We only use official communication channels. Be wary of fake messages, often via messenger services, that lead to fraudulent sites or apps and originate from cyber criminals who often act fraudulently in the name of well-known institutions.
